SATURDAY, 30th MAY
TEA AND CONCERT

For all Cowling Residents 65 years and over in the Methodist Schoolroom
Guests received from 4 p.m. Tea served at 4-30 p.m.
Concert will commence at 6-30 p.m. by the
CROWNING OF MISS CORONATION
The Ceremony of Crowning will be performed
by the 1937 Coronation Queen
DOORS OPEN TO ALL RESIDENTS FROM 6-15 p.m.

SUNDAY, 31st MAY
A UNITED CORONATION SERVICE

will be held at the COWLING PARISH CHURCH
Conducted by the Rev. H. Clegg and the Rev. F. Blundred
The service will commence at 6-30 p.m. and a printed Order of Service will be provided

PROGRAMME OF EVENTS

IN THE RECREATION GROUND
 

PRESENTATION OF SOUVENIRS
by Mr. and Mrs. William Smith
to all Children under School Age
followed at 10-0 a.m.
by the
 

PRESENTATION OF SOUVENIRS
by Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Cleaver
to all Children attending school up to and including
15 years of age
(If wet the Presentations will be held in the Village Institute)

2-0 p.m.
PROCESSION AND PAGEANT

will leave Middleton headed by the
COWLING BAND,
proceeding through the Village to the Cricket Field

(2) Coronation Queen and Retinue
(3) Members of Cowling Parish Council
(4) Fancy Dress Parade
(5) Residents of Cowling
(6) Tableaux and Decorated Vehicles

(For which prizes will be given)

LIGHTING OF THE BONFIRE
on the Summit of Earl's Crag
